Adam McIntosh started playing guitar at age 12, and started his first gospel band at age 15. The gospel group Willing Vessel, featuring Adam on the lead vocal and guitar, found steady work at a Cincinnati amusement park called Kings Island for two years. Upon leaving Willing Vessel at age 17, Adam became a founding member of the short lived progressive styled band Borderline. At 18 Adam joined the Dry Branch Fire Squad. He spent the next three and a half years touring both nationally, and internationally singing tenor, lead, and playing both guitar, and mandolin. He also recorded, and co-produced their current Rounder release “Dry Branch Fire Squad Live at the Newburryport Fire House.” After taking some time away from music to focus on his growing family, Adam has now become a founding member of a band featuring his sister, Angie, and his Dad, Jon, called Jett’s Creek. Adam has switched to banjo, and is singing baritone, as well as writing several songs for the group. He also currently moonlights as a member of Joe Mullins’ Radio Ramblers playing guitar, and singing lead.
